people do not have to go up an elevator and sit in a marble foyer. An environment, where, indepth knowledge is more important than the brand of suit that you wear. Most importantly, a place where people will not get lost in the shuffle and staff don't hide behind voice mail.
In closing, I would like to thank all the people who have allowed us to help them through difficult times. The fact that so many of you have referred friends and family speaks volumes and we thank you. To our long term and committed staff who have been with us for so many years, I thank you. Personal: Family My largest challenge, and by far the most rewarding is being a Father to my son. I would have to say, that having a young child certainly keeps me young. Sports As a Child growing up, I played years of hockey. I am a goal tender and still get together once a week through the winter for some pick up. My favourite sport, is the extreme sport of barefoot waterskiing. Although it can be very punishing, when done properly is amazing to watch and even more amazing to do. Other My most unique experience was volunteering in Africa for 5 weeks with the Earth Watch Institute. For part of the time, I helped track elephants through Kenya which was amazing, the other, I used my accounting skills to assist in compiling statistics (Not so amazing). In Closing If I can help you in any way to resolve your financial challenge, please call me. John Adamson |

Professional:
I would like to thank you for taking the time to enquire about our services.
Since graduation in the late 1980's, I have devoted most of my working career to the practice of insolvency.
I am fully licenced as a Trustee in Bankruptcy (holding both a personal and corporate Trustee licence), am a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Commissioner of Oaths.
I am very active within the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professional, and have on numerous occasions been a guest speaker and lecturer on various insolvency related topics.
My insolvency career started in Toronto, as an articling student working exclusively on large corporate engagements, primarily at the request of large banks.
In the early 1990's a couple came to me with a financial problem and asked that I help them restructure their situation. I soon learned it took a different set of skills to help people (rather than corporations), to resolve their financial problems.
In 1993, I returned back to South Western Ontario where I grew up, and continued my career providing services to individuals, small businesses and their owners.
Having worked on both sides of the fence (for both the banks and individuals) I knew that this experience was valuable in helping individuals and small businesses to resolve their financial challenges. So, in 1995, I incorporated a company and called it Adamson & Associates Inc. to do just that.
My goal then and now is simple: providing top quality insolvency and Debt Counselling services to INDIVIDUALS AND SMALL BUSINESSES, in a friendly, non confrontational environment, where
